NOTES ON STEEL TUBES

             > Steel tubes are ideally suited where vibration and/or displacement is to be kept to a minimum.

 

             > In particularly aggressive soils or in tidal zones or where water containing oxygen is known to be flowing round the pile, the steel should be considered sacrificial and the only the concrete SWL should be considered for calculation purposes.

 

             > For piles not exposed to renewed supplies of air and water, temporary or short life pile, the SWL can be taken as the composite value.

 

             > Thick wall top driven piles available to order.
