GENERAL

The piles used are all manufactured in our own specialised facility and have cured for a minimum of 28 days before transport to site.  This allows for full attainment of strength.

NOTES ON PRE-CAST CONCRETE PILES

             > Under normal atmospheric and underground conditions, pre-cast concrete piles require no maintenance.

             > Piles which suffer physical damage, for example through impact by shipping or moving rock armour induced by wave action (where the steel is exposed to salt water) should have the salt contamination removed and the concrete protection repaired to provide an airtight and watertight surround to the steel reinforcement.
