Precast Ground Beams

We can design, supply and fix complete ground beam* solutions for both domestic and industrial applications. We can also provide for precast floor units, negating the need for in-situ ground work.

*These beams use full moment connections and provisions can be made for irregular floor plans, meaning fewer restrictions on the client.

The importance of Piling Guarantee Insurance

Piling Guarantee insurance is included as standard on all our work. The advantage to this insurance is that it means that the building on the piles is itself insured against any flaw in the piling design or installation. As such, if there were a flaw in the pile design the insurance caters for the building to be taken down, the piles reinstalled and the building rebuilt.

This is in contrast to Product Guarantee which some other piling contractors use to cover their work. Product Guarantee means that if there were a flaw in the design or installation of the piles, the client or developer (not the piling contractor’s insurance) would pay for the building to be taken down, the piles would be reinstalled and then, again, the client or developer (not the piling contractor’s insurance) would pay for the building to be rebuilt.
